1. Can I choose any type of car?

Yes, it is possible to rent new, demonstration or used cars. The choice is very wide, depending on your preferences.

2. Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by bank transfer from any country, cash payment (unlimited, as legal in Germany) and cryptocurrency.

3. Who can drive the car?

The insurance is only valid for the driver declared when the contract is concluded. If, in the event of a claim, the driver is different, the insurance company may request a supplement.

4. Can I keep the German number plate at the end of the rental period?

Yes, it is possible to extend the contract and keep the German number plate if you wish to continue with the same car.

5. Can I change cars during my rental?

Yes, it is possible. First we sell the current car and then we open a new rental contract for the new vehicle.

6. How does the sale of the car at the end of the rental period work?

The car will be sold directly to the end customer. We collect the payment and transfer it to the initial customer as agreed.

7. Can I sell the car outside Germany?

Absolutely yes. German cars are highly regarded internationally for their quality and standard accessories, and our company enjoys an excellent reputation. In addition, German documents and DEKRA and TUV certifications are widely recognised worldwide. There are no geographical restrictions for sales.

8. Is maintenance included in the contract?

No, maintenance is not included, but to simplify the bureaucracy, you can contact your mechanic. Maintenance work, bodywork, tyres and other repairs can be carried out by your mechanic, who will invoice Modena Motors GmbH directly net of VAT. We will then re-invoice the amount to you, allowing you to save on VAT on these transactions as well.

9. Can I use my insurance?

No, the car is insured in Germany with a German primary insurance company, which offers generally stronger protection than Italian insurance companies.

10. What should I do in the event of a claim?

In the event of a claim (whether in tort or in reason), you must notify us of the event no later than 3 working days by providing us with a completed copy of the claim declaration from both parties involved or a copy of the authorities' report, detailed photos of the time of the claim and the other party's details. We will then handle communication with the insurance company.

11. Can I repair the car anywhere?

Yes, if you are right. If you are wrong and benefit from full coverage, it depends on the insurance company. In some cases, for significant damage, you may be required to repair the car in Germany.

12. Can I drive everywhere with the car?

Yes, the car can circulate throughout Europe and in all countries covered by the Green Card.

13. Can I do the audit/inspection anywhere?

The audi/inspection can only be carried out in Germany, at a TUV-approved centre. New vehicles must be overhauled after three years, and every two years thereafter.
