Description
The new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C8 3LZ is a new generation of Chevrolet’s flat-plane crank based on European supersports 5.5L V8 LT6 DOHC 645 PS and maximum torque of 595 Nm. It is the most potent series-produced atmospheric V8 engine in the world to date. Acceleration from 0 to 100 in an unbelievable 2,6 seconds, results are comparable with Supersports. Chevrolet: Tradition and Innovation in the Service of Mobility
Chevrolet's story began in 1911 in Detroit, through the collaboration between Louis Chevrolet, a Swiss engineer and racing driver, and William C. Durant, the founder of General Motors. Their goal was to create cars that combined high performance with refined design.
The first vehicle, the 1913 Series C Classic Six, was a perfect blend of luxury and technological innovation. The distinctive "bowtie" logo, adopted in 1914, became a symbol of quality and reliability, its origins remaining the subject of various interpretations.
Chevrolet's integration into General Motors in 1917 marked the beginning of a phase of expansion and diversification. Legendary models like the Corvette, introduced in 1953, and the Camaro, launched in 1966, solidified the brand's reputation in the sports car segment.
Over more than a century, Chevrolet has consistently maintained its commitment to innovation, offering vehicles that combine advanced technology, safety, and style, meeting the needs of an ever-evolving market.
